Free NFL Picks
You've waited long enough for the NFL to return, and now it's time to start turning a profit off of the most popular and highest volume of wagering sport there is in North America. Football is king when it comes to being able to consistently handicap on a weekly basis, and there are a ton of angles to capitalize on. Doc's NFL experts are second to none when it comes to turning a profit on the gridiron, and you can join them in winning with the release of their weekly free picks on every single NFL game from Week 1 to the Super Bowl in February.NFL Expert Picks and Predictions
Here are Doc's Sports, you will find all the free picks you can handle, which include but are not limited to NHL, MLB, NBA, College Football, and of course, the NFL picks. We utilize our social media platforms to ensure free picks are readily available for those who are looking for opinion and insight on some of the most popular games on the betting board as well as those that are likely to not garner much attention. We have an NFL video page that is updated weekly with tidbits and NFL free picks on key games of the week. If you're looking for even more than free picks and insight, be sure to capitalize on our complimentary $60 in premium member selections that can be used for any handicapper in any sport. You can get started with that by clicking the join button at the top of the page.Get your NFL Picks Today, and Every Day!
Because the NFL schedule is different than your typical daily NHL, MLB or NBA handicapping, we release our free picks and write-ups for each game on Tuesday, following Monday Night Football. These picks are released with opening line odds and as such, the lines are subject to change as kickoff approaches on Sunday. At Doc's, we take this into account when releasing free plays and advised on how high you should play a line to or when to avoid the game that sees major line movement. It's imperative that you understand that betting on the NFL is not always about betting the right teams, it's about betting the right number as well.NFL Picks Against the Spread
There is something glorious about being able to consistently win while betting games against the spread. In the NFL, betting teams against the spread or ATS is the most popular way to bet on football games. A spread is a sportsbook's way of leveling the playing field when two teams hook up and one team is noticeably better than the other one. For each game played, you would see a line that looks like this: New England -7 over New York Jets. That means that the sportsbooks think the Patriots are seven points better than the Jets and as such should win by seven or more points. If Doc's handicapper agrees with the books, they would lay the seven points and take New England Against the Spread. (ATS) If they don't, they would take the Jets Against the Spread (ATS) and have a seven-point cushion with regards to the final score. At Doc's, the majority of our free picks and members selections are against the spreads. There is sometimes value with taking an underdog on the money line, and there are certainly great spots to bet the total.NFL Over/Under Picks
In today's NFL, the style of play and systems used generally trend towards the over as most teams want to play fast and utilize their team speed and weapons on offense. Defenses are often overlooked, and as such most bettors or casual fans want to see points and more points. While there are great spots to bet NFL games to over the total, there are even more spots to grab an under on an inflated line. For example, if two teams are hooking up and they've put up a ton of points in their last game, sportsbooks will inflate the line knowing the public will think that the 'over' is the play based on recent play. However, an inflated line leaves bettors with a great chance to cash on the under as both of those teams will likely want to shore up the defense and play a sound football game. Doc's handicappers are some of the best in the industry at finding those inflated lines and hitting contrarian plays on NFL totals. Along with NFL ATS free picks, we offer predictions on totals that are insightful and stat-packed with good tidbits to help you understand what the right side of the total should be.NFL Parlay Picks
If you asked five people in a room their thoughts on parlays, you would likely get five different answers. Parlays, while a long-term losing prospect, can provide value when used in the right way. NFL Parlay picks offer a bettor a small-risk, high-reward type wager that can be very profitable when given the right information to process. Typically speaking, an NFL parlay pick would consist of two or more selections on different games. Nowadays, the big thing in the betting industry is the Same Game Parlays that are offered at a select number of sportsbooks. These same-game parlays offer up a way for a bettor to focus on one game and parlay a host of selections together for a massive payday. For example, if you think a football game is going to be high scoring, you might parlay the total, a few touchdown scorers and the point spread result together. If the game is high-scoring, chances are the players you selected got a touchdown and you would be very likely to win your bet. At Doc's Sports, we offer parlays when the situation calls for it. They are rare, but when we see an opportunity to show a great return, we simply do not pass it up.NFL Playoff Predictions
The NFL playoffs are unlike any other North American playoffs. They are one-game, single-elimination style games with the better seed hosting the lower seed. Time and time again, we've seen the lower seed (the road team) escaping the Wild Card Game with a win because they are the better team and played in a tougher division. Sometimes, betting on the NFL playoffs is not about picking the better team, it's about picking the team that is hot and confident heading into the matchup. It's also imperative to get the best number possible no matter which side you like in the game. Lines very rarely change drastically throughout the days leading up to kickoff, but a half-point could make the difference between winning and losing your wager. Shop around and bet the team you like at the right time while getting the best line. Allows Python code to execute PostgreSQL command in a database session.Cursors are created by the
connection.cursor()
method: they arebound to the connection for the entire lifetime and all the commands areexecuted in the context of the database session wrapped by the connection.Cursors created from the same connection are not isolated, i.e., anychanges done to the database by a cursor are immediately visible by theother cursors. Cursors created from different connections can or can notbe isolated, depending on the connections’ isolation level. See also
rollback()
andcommit()
methods.Cursors are not thread safe: a multithread application can createmany cursors from the same connection and should use each cursor froma single thread. See Thread and process safety for details.
Cursors can be used as context managers: leaving the context will closethe cursor.

()¶Close the cursor now (rather than whenever
del
is executed).The cursor will be unusable from this point forward; anInterfaceError
will be raised if any operation isattempted with the cursor.Changed in version 2.5: if the cursor is used in a
with
statement,the method is automatically called at the end of the with

execute
(query, vars=None)¶Execute a database operation (query or command).
Parameters may be provided as sequence or mapping and will be bound tovariables in the operation. Variables are specified either withpositional (
%s
) or named (%(name)s
) placeholders. SeePassing parameters to SQL queries.The method returns
None
. If a query was executed, the returnedvalues can be retrieved using fetch*()
methods.executemany
(query, vars_list)¶Execute a database operation (query or command) against all parametertuples or mappings found in the sequence vars_list.
The function is mostly useful for commands that update the database:any result set returned by the query is discarded.
Parameters are bounded to the query using the same rules described inthe
execute()
method.Warning
In its current implementation this method is not faster thanexecuting
execute()
in a loop. For better performanceyou can use the functions described in Fast execution helpers.callproc
(procname[, parameters])¶Call a stored database procedure with the given name. The sequence ofparameters must contain one entry for each argument that the procedureexpects. Overloaded procedures are supported. Named parameters can beused by supplying the parameters as a dictionary.
This function is, at present, not DBAPI-compliant. The return value issupposed to consist of the sequence of parameters with modified outputand input/output parameters. In future versions, the DBAPI-compliantreturn value may be implemented, but for now the function returns None.
Docs Expert 3 0 Online
The procedure may provide a result set as output. This is then madeavailable through the standard
fetch*()
methods.Changed in version 2.7: Fonepaw iphone data recovery 5 6 0 plus. added support for named arguments.
Note
callproc()
can only be used with PostgreSQL functions, notwith the procedures introduced in PostgreSQL 11, which requirethe CALL
statement to run. Please use a normalexecute()
to run them.mogrify
(operation[, parameters])¶Return a query string after arguments binding. The string returned isexactly the one that would be sent to the database running the
execute()
method or similar.The returned string is always a bytes string.
DB API extension
The
mogrify()
method is a Psycopg extension to the DB API 2.0.setinputsizes
(sizes)¶This method is exposed in compliance with the DB API 2.0. It currentlydoes nothing but it is safe to call it.
Results retrieval methods
The following methods are used to read data from the database after an
execute()
call.Note
cursor
objects are iterable, so, instead of callingexplicitly fetchone()
in a loop, the object itself canbe used:Changed in version 2.4: iterating over a named cursorfetches
itersize
records at time from the backend.Previously only one record was fetched per roundtrip, resultingin a large overhead.fetchone
()¶Fetch the next row of a query result set, returning a single tuple,or
None
when no more data is available:A
ProgrammingError
is raised if the previous callto execute*()
did not produce any result set or no call was issuedyet.fetchmany
([size=cursor.arraysize])¶Fetch the next set of rows of a query result, returning a list oftuples. An empty list is returned when no more rows are available.
The number of rows to fetch per call is specified by the parameter.If it is not given, the cursor’s
arraysize
determinesthe number of rows to be fetched. The method should try to fetch asmany rows as indicated by the size parameter. If this is not possibledue to the specified number of rows not being available, fewer rowsmay be returned:A
ProgrammingError
is raised if the previous call toexecute*()
did not produce any result set or no call was issued yet.Note there are performance considerations involved with the sizeparameter. For optimal performance, it is usually best to use the
arraysize
attribute. If the size parameter is used,then it is best for it to retain the same value from onefetchmany()
call to the next.fetchall
()¶Fetch all (remaining) rows of a query result, returning them as a listof tuples. An empty list is returned if there is no more record tofetch.
A
ProgrammingError
is raised if the previous call toexecute*()
did not produce any result set or no call was issued yet.scroll
(value[, mode='relative'])¶Scroll the cursor in the result set to a new position accordingto mode.
If
mode
is relative
(default), value is taken as offset tothe current position in the result set, if set to absolute
,value states an absolute target position.If the scroll operation would leave the result set, a
ProgrammingError
is raised and the cursor position isnot changed.Note
Docs Expert 3 0 Download
According to the DB API 2.0, the exception raised for a cursor outof bound should have been
IndexError
. The best option isprobably to catch both exceptions in your code:The method can be used both for client-side cursors andserver-side cursors. Server-side cursorscan usually scroll backwards only if declared
scrollable
.Moving out-of-bound in a server-side cursor doesn’t result in anexception, if the backend doesn’t raise any (Postgres doesn’t tell usin a reliable way if we went out of bound).arraysize
¶This read/write attribute specifies the number of rows to fetch at atime with
fetchmany()
. It defaults to 1 meaning to fetcha single row at a time.itersize
¶Read/write attribute specifying the number of rows to fetch from thebackend at each network roundtrip during iteration on a named cursor. Thedefault is 2000.
New in version 2.4.
DB API extension
The
itersize
attribute is a Psycopg extension to the DB API 2.0.rowcount
¶This read-only attribute specifies the number of rows that the last
execute*()
produced (for DQL statementslike SELECT
) or affected (forDML statements like UPDATE
or INSERT
).The attribute is -1 in case no
execute*()
has been performed onthe cursor or the row count of the last operation if it can’t bedetermined by the interface.Note
The DB API 2.0 interface reserves to redefine the latter case tohave the object return
None
instead of -1 in future versionsof the specification.rownumber
¶This read-only attribute provides the current 0-based index of thecursor in the result set or
None
if the index cannot bedetermined.The index can be seen as index of the cursor in a sequence (the resultset). The next fetch operation will fetch the row indexed by
rownumber
in that sequence.lastrowid
¶This read-only attribute provides the OID of the last row insertedby the cursor. If the table wasn’t created with OID support or thelast operation is not a single record insert, the attribute is set to
None
.Note
PostgreSQL currently advices to not create OIDs on the tables andthe default for
CREATETABLE
is to not support them. TheINSERT..RETURNING
syntax available from PostgreSQL 8.3 allowsmore flexibility.query
¶Read-only attribute containing the body of the last query sent to thebackend (including bound arguments) as bytes string.
None
if noquery has been executed yet:DB API extension
The
query
attribute is a Psycopg extension to the DB API 2.0.statusmessage
¶Read-only attribute containing the message returned by the lastcommand:
DB API extension
The
statusmessage
attribute is a Psycopg extension to theDB API 2.0.cast
(oid, s)¶Convert a value from the PostgreSQL string representation to a Pythonobject.
Use the most specific of the typecasters registered by

.DB API extension
The
cast()
method is a Psycopg extension to the DB API 2.0.tzinfo_factory
¶The time zone factory used to handle data types such as
TIMESTAMPWITHTIMEZONE
. It should be a tzinfo
object. Default is datetime.timezone
.Changed in version 2.9: previosly the default factory was
psycopg2.tz.FixedOffsetTimezone
.nextset
()¶This method is not supported (PostgreSQL does not have multiple datasets) and will raise a
NotSupportedError
exception.setoutputsize
(size[, column])¶This method is exposed in compliance with the DB API 2.0. It currentlydoes nothing but it is safe to call it.
COPY-related methods
Efficiently copy data from file-like objects to the database and back. SeeUsing COPY TO and COPY FROM for an overview.
DB API extension
The
COPY
command is a PostgreSQL extension to the SQL standard.As such, its support is a Psycopg extension to the DB API 2.0.copy_from
(file, table, sep='t', null='N', size=8192, columns=None)¶Read data from the file-like object file appending them tothe table named table.
Parameters: |

---|
Example:
Changed in version 2.0.6: added the columns parameter.
Changed in version 2.4: data read from files implementing the
io.TextIOBase
interfaceare encoded in the connection encoding
when sent tothe backend.Changed in version 2.9: the table and fields names are now quoted. If you need to specifya schema-qualified table please use
copy_expert()
.copy_to
(file, table, sep='t', null='N', columns=None)¶Write the content of the table named tableto the file-likeobject file. See Using COPY TO and COPY FROM for an overview.
